Understanding the Emergence of a European Defence Technological and Industrial Complex
If the Russian is invading then might as well, illegal immigrants are already walking the streets and destroying way of life.
Investing in military and defence is one thing and needs to be maintained, agree, but You, DIPLOMATS, failed in DIPLOMACY! And those, ordinary people in EU and Ukraine, suffering (directly or indirectly) from the troops actions on land every day. I think EU diplomates have been so astoundingly deaf to Russian rhetorics throughout so many years if not decades. Now in their speeches, such as this one, they do not even want to acknowledge their absenteeism. Russian president can be a crazy autocrat but I feel that Europe and US have a role to play in driving him crazy by being too arrogant throughout so many years, perhaps from the time of Cold War
The EU's approach to climate security is a critical element in its broader environmental and geopolitical strategies. Recognizing climate change as a threat multiplier, the EU has integrated climate security into its foreign and defense policies, understanding that climate-induced instability-such as resource scarcity, migration, and conflict poses risks not just to the environment but to global peace and security. The EU's commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, transitioning to renewable energy, and supporting climate resilience initiatives globally reflects its proactive stance on climate security. However, addressing the intersection of climate change and security requires greater international cooperation, as climate-induced challenges often transcend national borders. The EU must continue to lead by example, fostering multilateral efforts and promoting sustainable development practices, while ensuring that vulnerable regions are equipped to adapt to the changing climate. Ultimately, the EU's role in climate security underscores the need for urgent, comprehensive action to mitigate and adapt to the climate crisis, securing a stable and sustainable future for all.
He hasn't had me yet at 3%. While a great policy layout, on the surface almost all I could wish for and better than I expected. I still don't fully trust Rutte or Europe. They are not Japan, whom I would simply just take their word for it. The devil will be in the details and if European leaders respond accordingly. It's a good leap out of the block and past the first hurdle - there was no nonsense about using impounded Russian assets as I feared - but what about duplication and, importantly, discrimination? Will there be more funny business on what exactly is "defense spending" and manipulation on gdp reporting? Warning: Americans just have no tradition or patience for years of bickering over "contract" splits and details. I am very tired of European BS (We will get to Canada). Otherwise it's great, umm, thank you Sec. Mark Rutte
On further thought, I take back the thanks pending exact details. They are going to be very important. The United States has so many imbalances with Europe. Are they going to expect continued US involvement in Europe for the next decade or so while they reduce expenditures on American defense equipment causing even further imbalances? All to eventually compete against our large defense primes across the world? I think Rumpt is going to be fooled. This is not such a partisan issue in the States as some Europeans had thought.
This speech quickly devolves into cheap bottom of the barrel boilerplate propaganda. "They oppress their people, while we cherish freedom". Is that why Germans are arrested for social media posts? Is that the kind of freedom you mean, Mein Fuh I mean Mr. Rutte?
Mark Rutte ! ! ! Amerika mentes Európát ..! ! !
so whats this plan look like? suddenly the west goes all in and empties the bank and hands over the rest of our militaries and THEN ukraine can come up with a real plan?
"we are producing (arms) in a year what Russia produced in 3 months." Understandable because t change production to a war footing is he decision of one man in Russia and in China. But it is so encouraging to hear how Rutte's summarized the facts so accurately and to the point, while on the other hand the EU created a new Defence Post and appointment a defence commissioner - Andrius Kubilius who in his first interview clearly showed that he is fully aware of what Tutte said and it seems that we are in much safer hands that I thought. BUT - ALL EU COUNTRY LEADERS NEED TO MAKE CITIZENS AWARE OF THE DANGEROUS THAT ARE SO NEAR TO US. THIS IS WHY ONE LADY SAID - IN A SURVEY ONLY 32% said that they are prepared to fight. AWARENESS AND FULL COVERAGE IN ALL EU COUNTRIES IS KEY IF YOU WANT A TRUE PICTURE OF HOW MANY OF US VALUE OUR FREEDOM AND DEMOCRAY AND ARE PREPARED TO FIGHT FOR I. I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT I IS A LOT LOT MORE THAN 32%
Why is the audio so low? Nobody should hear this?

Frank Walter Steinmeier is a very good president of Germany. He is my excellent friend by letters.
Recimos curso para ser Operadora de Justicia por su pais. Los paises Europeos.
Whenever i hear "dependancy of" it rings my ears, that these American Warmongers, want Europe to be depentant of America.
Why are they whispering?
Russophobic garbage
Interesting how this was uploaded 1 week before Russia's attack on Ukraine.
Interesting take on the Ukraine conflict that this panel says is the result of Russian aggression ignoring the complicity of Germany in fuelling it by ignoring its commitments under the Minsk 2 accord by deliberating arming Ukraine and supporting its aggression against the Donbass, this was admitted to by Angela Merkle. Regarding the Israeli invasion of Gaza, this panel laid the blame on the Oct 7 attack on Israel ignoring that this did not happen in a vacuum and the fact that Germany was sued in the ICC for its complicity in the charge of genocide of Israel that it can't defend.
I had trouble understanding parts of this. This chart helped: They say -> they mean International -> The US Democracy -> corporate Oligarchy Liberal -> the current Oligarchy Order -> Status Quo Progressive -> Communist Political Will -> Rubber stamp NATO Ally -> Vassal of USA
The U.S. and NATO started a Hitlerite war against Russia. Truly Evil!
Napoleon was a great man . A great thinker . Im english but we still have a crazy king now in 2024 . 😂 . It is digusting .

Came here for amazing piano play, only got dissonant outlook notifications. Disappointed :/
Isn't the tribe an intermediate step between the individual and the universal e.g. acceptance of universal values.
how did you mean political interactions instead of economic?
think that it was interesting, at least one a bit so on NATO. though what struck me this morning is how all the speakers look let's say well paid. there cannot be felt no real passion or sense of urgency, or real concern. am not saying you are not engaged, but not well deep down not really. one can sense the superficiality, like bankers who solve their affairs by unsolvability. a big bunch of businessmen and ladies.
KKKEEP SERVIA OUT OF EU!
Real German engineers would have felt obliged to trim the 1st 15 minutes of nothing off this video. Now they don’t care. 🤷♂️

As an American of German descent who's grandfather's were in every conflict...... German youth need to look at the American Constitution and how we protect the first ten rights. Imagine a Germany that had the 2nd amendment which only protects one's right to defense of enemies foreign and domestic.
Sound on web site is distorted...
There is only one country in the world responsible for any war since ww2, that is the US, without an exception. Parroting US lies, who lied about every conflict since ww2, takes a very low state of conciousness. People like you should be ashamed of yourself, open your eyes. You are part of the problem and why we still have conflict. Open your eyes. You are a major part of the problem. Be greatly ashamed of yourself. There is a reason you have a failed gynocologist as a president, I can mataphorise your actions in standing up for the truth.
I would love to debate any of you on the subjects which are you speaking of, aparat from myriads of lies, you are also not consistent.
Three is a crowd, indeed. My opinion is that Europe hasn't a too bright future and Serbia shouldn't stay too close to Europe. East is future. Sorry, Europe, I'm afraid you messed up,big time. Europe doesn't look at it self 20 years ago,in a bad way. Looks more like Soviet Union.
Absolutely right... toss off EU!
Tito was the same bastard as Sonja Liht and that's why he fled to Brioni in 1948.
A "forgotten peace formula" (Franz Jedlicka) is a nonviolent family life. In Russia child corporal punishment and domestic violence against women is not prosecuted, which means that there is a deeply rooted "culture of violence".
This nazi ideology that somehow the Russians are descendants of the golden horde and Ukraine are descendants of vikings that is being pushed by Ukraine is disturbing..
What world is that woman living in?
The work of this woman (I am sure) was paid generously by neocons (war mongers).
It IS "The Ukraine War" that's the most accurate way to describe it. It's a proxy war between The West, US at the head, against Russia on battlefield Ukraine. And it's over Ukraine's identity, place in the world, and whether or not Blackrock owns massive swathes of Ukrainian wealth. Also, the Holodomor Myth is a lie about the 1930-1933 famine, that was literally just a famine in a place where famines were common, Georgia started the South Ossetia war by bombing Russian peacekeeping forces (a real unprovoked war) and Ukrainians aren't Vikings, they're slavs and it's super obvious just by looking at them. This is a propaganda panel.
Tella you feck all about the roots of the conflict
Total horseshit that ignores the facts. Bloody bizarre to ignore many fact that many people already know to be true
